HSE University ranks first in the National University Reputation Ranking among employers

HSE University's reputation index reached 98 points. In addition, 64.2% of employers noted that they trust the quality of education at the university.

The top three also includes Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU). Among the twenty universities with the best reputation among employers, 14 are located in Moscow, three in St. Petersburg, and one each in Yekaterinburg, Kazan, and Tomsk.

The survey involved companies from the Forbes list of the best employers in Russia — organizations from various regions representing 43 sectors of the economy. These companies offer competitive salaries and optimal working conditions, demonstrate transparent corporate governance, and adhere to ESG principles.

Employers also identified universities leading in the following fields: economics, engineering and technical sciences, marketing and communications, natural sciences, creative industries, and humanities.

When calculating the ranking, scores were assigned in two categories: “Overall Reputation” and “Industry Reputation.” In the final calculation of the reputation index, the “Overall Reputation” score accounted for 70% of the weight, while “Industry Reputation” accounted for 30%.
